Safari Beach Tan began as a 3-bed store in 1988 and quickly grew to a 45-bed mega store with locations in Munster, Merrillville, and Chicago. Randy Anderson, creator and owner of SBT, sold off these locations to pursue a new idea in tanning. After buying new, stronger tanning equipment, he was ready to pursue this new journey of a cleaner, cooler, quicker way to tan and without those annoying tan lines.
